Tucked into the pastoral fields of the Cowichan Valley on Southern Vancouver Island, is Unsworth Vineyards and Restaurant, a family-owned, award winning winery. Unsworth boasts a 1900’s original farmhouse restored to a fully-functioning restaurant and a vineyard operation with a stand alone tasting room. All offer a spectacular view of the well-landscaped property of vineyards, fruit trees and a large pond with waterfall features.
Unsworth’s winemaker, Daniel Cosman, creates wines showcasing Vancouver Island’s vinticulture including Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, Petit Milo, Merlot and Cabernet-Libre. A second label, TimBuck Two, offers wine produced from fruit sourced from Okanagan Vineyards.
Unsworth Vineyards and Restaurant offers itself as a wedding and event venue for up to 50 people. The picturesque grounds provide a backdrop for guests to enjoy the vineyard setting for any special occasion and be assured of a authentic wine and culinary experience.
Visitors to Unsworth can look forward to many annual events including Wine Release Parties, Wine Education Evenings and seasonally-inspired menus from the Restaurant.
