de Vine Vineyards is a family-owned and operated organic vineyard and winery. The winery and Tasting Room is perched on the crest of a hill with a breath-taking views overlooking the beautiful Saanich Peninsula.
Vineyards were planted in 2007 with primarily Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Grüner Veltliner varietals. de Vine is the first vineyard to plant Grüner Veltliner in B.C. The winery released its first vintages in 2009 of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc.
Owners John & Cathy Windsor, their son, Ryan Windsor and winemaker Ken Winchester tend the vineyards using organic techniques.
Organically produced spirits from the de Vine Distillery were unveiled in 2015. De Vine is proud to offer Vancouver Island with gin, vodka, and whiskey made using traditional techniques and island ingredients.
Also new to de Vine in 2015 is the newly-built Marquee and a mobile kitchen facility nicknamed “Lexi” allowing the winery to host catered weddings and events for 25 to 150 guests.
