The BC Shellfish Growers Association will host the 2016 Festival from June 10-19th. Many events are planned including seafood chef demonstrations & tastings, gala dinners and educational seminars (Click here for more).
The 10th Annual Chefs’ Gala Dinner will be held on Friday, June 17th in Filberg Heritage Lodge & Park, in beautiful Comox, B.C.
This decadent dining event begins with a raw oyster bar reception, sampling oysters from different regions of B.C., shucked and served by the farmers who grew them. Continuing with a sit-down dinner featuring six courses, each one created by a different top BC Chef and expertly paired with a BC wine or local craft beer.
The Shellfish Festival is 10 days (June 10th to 19th, 2016) of activities celebrating the sea, with numerous events including workshops, culinary demonstrations & winery dinners.
